DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT WITH SECURE AUTHENTICATION THROUGH CRYPTO-BIOMETRIC TECHNIQUES VIA HARDWARE

The goal of the CB-doc project is to ensure that the components of a document management system form a trust chain by incorporating hardware solutions, rather than relying solely on software solutions, which can be easily compromised.

To achieve this, a hybrid platform is created that can be used from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection, applying cryptographic and biometric identification techniques using a non-clonable hardware element (the e-padlock) connected to the mobile device.

  • What you know: Cryptographic techniques verify the identity of the user accessing the content.

  • What you have: The distinguishing feature of the CB-doc platform is the physical, non-clonable e-padlock device.

  • Who you are: Biometric checks complete the system by identifying the user through their fingerprint.
