Asceta is a point of union between new technologies and education online. The technologies of the semantic web have enabled the creation of a virtual, open, and participatory environment that allows access to cultural and educational content.

The Ximdex platform has been used in the project PROCOMÚN to semanticize more than 100,000 multimedia resources (videos, animations, images, graphics...), facilitating their localization and distribution, even overcoming language barriers.

The presentation language used is the result of the transformation of the original documents, which have been constructed in a structured manner using XML, and have been generated by the semantic content manager Ximdex CMS
