We’re talking about our new module that ensures your website’s security

During our visit to Betabeers Sevilla, we’ll be presenting the new XHAWK module we’ve been working on in recent weeks, as part of the talk titled “Free Content Management with Semantic Technologies” (see presentation).

As we’ve mentioned in previous posts, the decoupled publication feature in Ximdex separates the CMS from the final exploitation servers (application, web, etc.) and allows us to choose any technology (Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, …) for our web portal. Additional advantages include reducing downtime caused by potential CMS failures and improving the scalability of the web service provided.

However, perhaps the greatest advantage of our decoupled architecture is the ability to ensure that what portal users see is accurate, with real-time detection of unauthorized modifications to the information.

The Ximdex HAWK module monitors published content in real time as it is delivered to portal users’ browsers. If an unauthorized modification outside the Ximdex Platform workflow is detected, it triggers an alert. The administrator can then choose to restore the content to its current state, with the option to automate the restoration through the CMS.
